The space

Upon entering the home, guests arrive on the main floor where a cozy kitchenette provides a convenient space for light meals or morning coffee ☕. On this same level, the first bedroom opens directly to the outdoor area, allowing guests to step outside and connect with the surrounding garden and fresh mountain air 🌿

A half-level above, the second bedroom features a private balcony overlooking the pool and the lush greenery surrounding the property 🏡🌴. This level also includes the shared bathroom serving the first two bedrooms.

The second floor opens into a spacious living area with high ceilings and an inviting atmosphere. Large windows and an outdoor balcony bring in natural light 🌅.

The fully equipped kitchen, comfortable seating area, TV, and a small collection of books make this level ideal for relaxing, cooking, or spending time together after a day of exploring 📚.

Also on this level is the master suite, the bedroom includes an ensuite bathroom, a walk-in closet area, and a wide private balcony with two chairs—perfect for enjoying morning coffee or the sounds of nature in the evening 🐦.

Villa Sol y Lumbra sits within Tierra Verde, a safe gated mountain community located approximately 7 minutes up the hill from Uvita. In less than 12 minutes guests can reach the beaches, restaurants, shops, and the incredible Marino Ballena National Park 🐋, known for its famous whale-tail sandbar and marine wildlife.

Costa Rica’s tropical climate is home to a wide variety of insects, lizards, rodents, and reptiles. While we have a strict pest control plan in place to keep these visitors outside the home, occasional encounters with local wildlife are part of the natural experience and do not constitute a breach of the rental policy. We appreciate your understanding as you embrace the beauty of this vibrant ecosystem.

Being located in the mountains, power outages can occasionally occur due to weather-related issues or falling branches.
Additionally, the local water supply comes from nearby springs, and interruptions can happen.
We kindly ask guests to keep this in mind as part of the rural and natural experience of staying in this beautiful area.
