The space

Just 30 minutes from famous Manuel Antonio Park and a short 7-minute drive away from the pristine & quiet Playa Matapalo—an uncrowded beach where you might find yourself alone, save for the occasional turtle laying eggs, during an early morning visit.

The house sits on 5 acres of land with a neighboring 5-acre conservation area providing utmost privacy. The property’s garden, along with the jungle, has many
tropical trees & plants including mangos, papayas, pineapples, Manzana de agua, coconuts, avocado, lemon, and even a coveted mangosteen tree.

🌳The property features a short hike through a lush jungle trail that leads to a secluded waterfall with a refreshing swimming hole.

🏡This newly renovated 2-story home blends modern luxury with a warm inviting atmosphere. The private master bedroom walls slide away to make you feel you are sleeping in a treehouse in the jungle!

🌱Perched on the mountainside, the house feels as though it’s part of the jungle itself. Monkeys swing by, Toucans, Aracaris, Green Parrots & even Scarlet Macaws entertain from the surrounding trees; Coatis & Agoutis are regular visitors…bringing nature right to your doorstep.

🛏️The main floor includes the kitchen with indoor island dining, cozy living room, laundry room, king master bedroom, ½ bathroom & a large upper deck with outdoor dining facilities that overlook the pool, the fantastic ocean view & the lush green jungle.
🏝️The lower floor houses two bedrooms, a king & a queen, with a shared full bathroom and has direct access to the pool & rancho area.
*AC available in all 3 bedrooms.

Guest access

Finca Feliz is located in a gated community with a 2nd gate to enter the property.

A 4 x 4 is MANDATORY to access the property. The road is well maintained; however, it is steep in some places. A 4 x 4 allows you to access many other roads in the area allowing you to visit other attractions & restaurants.

A member of our staff will greet you personally for the check in.

Other things to note

The lower floor quest bedrooms (one Queen & one King) share a Jack & Jill bathroom and are accessed via an outdoor wooden staircase. Caution the wood can be slippery when wet. Please use handrail.

Tiles around pool are non-slip tiles but can still be slippery when wet. Please wear appropriate footwear.

The main floor master bedroom does not have curtains as it is very private. To note, the jungle does wake up early, so if you are light sensitive in the morning, eye masks are recommended.

Costa Rica’s tropical climate is home to a wide variety of insects, lizards, rodents, and reptiles. While we have a strict pest control plan in place to keep these visitors outside the home, it’s important to understand that occasional encounters with local wildlife are part of the natural experience and do not constitute a breach of the rental policy. We appreciate your understanding as you embrace the beauty of this vibrant ecosystem.

POOL MAINTENANCE
🧼 The maintenance team will require access to the property on those days. (Tuesdays & Fridays)

IMPORTANT TO CONSIDER
Being located in the jungle, power outages can occur from time to time due to falling branches or other weather-related issues.
Additionally, the local water supply comes from nearby springs, which can occasionally experience interruptions.
We kindly ask guests to keep this in mind as part of the rural and natural experience of staying in this beautiful area.
